First Visit

​We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you as a patient and familiarize you with our practice.

It is our goal that you obtain optimal dental health and enjoy a great smile for a lifetime! With an emphasis on prevention, we strongly recommend regular check-ups and professional cleanings. As a new patient, you will have a full dental examination; this will include an overview of your entire dental health including record taking, periodontal assessment, cancer screening and cavity detection among other things. Dental x-rays are usually required for an adequate diagnosis and treatment planning. After your diagnosis, our doctors will prepare a treatment plan based on your dental needs. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to your treatment and the fees associated.

We try our best to assist you in dealing with your benefit plan but please remember that your benefits are a contract between you and the benefit company, as a third party we are not informed of your coverage, any changes, maximums etc. It is your responsibility to let us know your plan information prior to your dental visit. Please bring your dental benefit card and booklet to your appointment. We remind you that you are accountable for any fees that exceed what your benefits may pay. Payment for all treatment is due the day of service. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Interac Debit.

We respect your time and strive to stay on schedule for appointments. As we reserve time for you, we ask that you return the courtesy by being on time for your dental visits. Should you need to reschedule an appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice and only take cancellations during office hours. Short notice cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
