Canadian Dental Care Plan

Sun Valley Family Dentistry is accepting the new Canadian Dental Plan!  It is important to know that the Canadian Dental Plan has its own fee guide, which is lower than the BC Dental fee guide.  As such, some money will always be owing at each appointment, even if you are approved for the 100% coverage.  

 

The CDCP covers 1 cleaning per year, and basic dental work such as fillings, extractions and root canals.  They may provide a small amount of coverage towards crowns and other major work starting in November 2024.  

 

At Sun Valley Family Dentistry we will try our best to pre authorize work before booking it so you know what to expect.  It’s important to keep in mind that insurance can be difficult for us to deal with and we are sometimes not given all the information we would like by the insurance company.  

 

We are happy to accept this dental plan and give those without insurance the dental help they need.
